Same Day Urgent Care

We are proud to provide pet parents with same day, urgent care drop off appointments. As the gap between general practice and emergency/specialty continues to widen, our hospital is pleased to be able to offer access to the advanced diagnostic, surgical and urgent care your pets require.  

We understand that a sudden illness or injury with your pet can be stressful and same day treatment can often be hard to find. In order to accommodate pets who need to be seen, we offer scheduled arrival times throughout our day. 

What do I do if my pet needs to be seen today?

• Give us a call and explain your pet’s symptoms
• We will triage and determine whether a same day urgent care appointment is necessary
  • If not necessary, we will find an appropriate appointment time. 
  • If necessary, we will let you know when to bring your pet to the hospital that same day. 

What to expect?

• Upon arrival, our technician will discuss your pets needs with you 
• Upon leaving your pet with us, we will take their vitals and complete a physical exam to triage appropriately
• Your pet will be seen and assessed by a veterinarian to establish a treatment plan 
• Depending on the severity of your pet’s case, your pet may stay with us for a couple of hours or for the whole day
• We will keep you informed through the process so you feel confident in the care we are providing
• We will call you with an update, a plan for your pet, and a pick up time 
• Your pet will receive lots of cuddles and attention whilst in our care!
